Hello, guest
Name: apostle  •  Title: Symbols Decoded  •  Date posted: 03/07/07 15:57
Q: At theometry.com, you can download my paper which will explain the meaning of the "chevron" or corner (even cross) and circle. Those geometries, when integrated, generate a point. The corner is the limit of the Father or the term "end;" the circle is the limit of the Holy Spirit or the term "beginning;" and, the point is the limit of the Son, Jesus Christ, or the term "intermediate." That triad is located in the "Theometry Table at the end of the paper. Similarly, those limits are for "energy," "mass" and "time," respectively. The fish symbol is the norm delineating a spiral.

A: A very interesting documentary very well told. Like everyone I’m intrigued by the symbols carved over the door of the tomb.

A) It appears to be a variation of the all-seeing eye, a variation on the Egyptian Eye of Horus. The Eye of Horus, originally the Eye of Ra, symbolized royal power. The ancients believed this symbol of indestructibility would assist in rebirth.

B) Greek inscriptions were found in the tomb and on the ossuaries. If you read the carvings over the door as such you have lambda omnicron.
Lambda is the Greek equivalent of Lamedh, the twelfth letter in many Semitic abjads, including Phoenician, Aramaic, Hebrew‎ and Arabic alphabet‎. It has a numerical value of 30.
Lamedh is believed to derive from a pictogram of an ox goad or cattle prod. Some have suggested a shepherd's staff.
Omicron is the Greek equivalent of Ayin the sixteenth letter in many Semitic abjads, including Phoenician, Aramaic, Hebrew‎ and Arabic.
The letter name is derived from West Semitic pictogram for "eye". It has a numerical value of 70.
Put them together what do you get? All-seeing shepherd?
Add them and they total 100. In Greek that’s Rho, which means ‘head’ and in Hebrew Koph ‘Eye of the Needle.’

C) Seen as symbols

The chevron is an ancient symbol for male. Or it's a sign that points to heaven...

The circle is an ancient and universal symbol of unity, wholeness, infinity, the goddess, and female power. To earth-centered religions throughout history as well as to many contemporary pagans, it represents the feminine spirit or force, the cosmos or a spiritualized Mother Earth, and a sacred space.

But it that what they mean here? Hard to say...

D) And strangely enough… These symbols have their equivalent in the Tarot de Marseille. Lambda (30) translates as Le Pendu, the Hanged Man. Omicron (70) is La Maison Dieu, House of God. Together they add up to (100) Le soleil. The sun… the light?

All quite fascinating and good for a lot of discussion in coffee shops and on the net. Why not just send a team of archeologists to excavate?

Shouldn’t be too hard to find a broadcaster.

A: Could this chevron be an egyptial symbol? Didn't Jesus go to Egypt for a while to flee some persecution when he was born? So he could have picked some sort of symbol up there?

I was wondering if this could be where the symbol comes from.

A: The problem with this is that even egyptians Jews didn't use this symbol; it seems less probable that a Palestinian Jew would.

A: KRS,

If you consider the Origins of the Hebrew religion coming out of egypt then yes, you can imagine it being used by a Palestinian Hebrew.

A: The Chevron and Circle symbolizes the rising sun as well as rising from the east. Stars symbolize sources of light (truth, enlightenment) and the sun disk, being our primary star, symbolizes primary sources of enlightenment. Since the sun provides both light (truth) and heat (justice), this symbolizes the ascendency of truth, wisdom, and justice, aka Righteousness. Never forget that these people dedicated their lives to ending greed, falsehood, and injustice. Read the Doctrine of Two Spirits of the Community Rule (Dead Sea Scroll 1QS) for further verification.

Also, the two pillars, two candlesticks, and two witnesses of Revelation chapter 11 also symbolize truth and justice. Notice that the number 11 matches the image of two candlesticks and two pillars and 1+1=2? Notice that the roof of the temple, which symbolizes the high places (ideals) of God's house, is formed by two pillars.

Also, read Proverbs 9:1 again and compare it to the Seven Spirits of God and Seven Pillars described at the following link. Notice that the First and the Last of the seven spirits/pillars are truth and justice? Notice that Melchizedek is the Lord (Master/Teacher) of Righteousness, which is the zeal for truth and justice? Notice that Melchizedek contains 11 characters, as in the two witnesses and two candlesticks of Revelation 11? Read Dead Sea Scroll 11Q13, the coming of Melchizedek. Notice that it was found in cave 11 of 11 total Dead Sea Scroll caves?

Download my free ebook if you truly want to understand what Rome and the Vatican have long endeavored to hide from you. You won't like everything I reveal, but it is the long-awaited truth that leads to justice and the wisdom of the ages.
