Hello, guest

Q: Author, Richard Ben Sapir's 1983 book.
The movie of it in 2000.

In the year 2000, the movie "The Body" came out.

Antonio Banderas plays a Jesuit sent to Jerusalem.

An archaeologist named Sharon Goldban, has found the bones of a crucified man.

See the movie!

In it, a pathologist examines the bones.

Question : did such a specialist examine the bones of the Jesus bone box in 1980? Surely someone must have taken a close look at them?

A: Panluna,

You meant the book by Simcha??

I tried to buy it on the weekend. It is only available in my city in French.
I will try to find an English copy next time I go the Montreal.

So, you've read the book? I only just now (the day before yesterday) seen the DVD.

And, I spent the last three days visiting this site, reading various pages. I found the video clips informative as well.

I am very late in getting caught up on all that has happened.
Lots of reading. The days between Christmas and New Years in Quebec are quite leasure reading days for me.

It's been fun having something as interesting as this to get into.

Hello Friends.

Just back from a work contract in another city...

Thank you, Anchorite, for the compliment of wanting to talk more with me.
I do have a coffee beside me, so having virtual coffee together will have to suffice. :)

Question : have you read the fiction book by Kathy Reichs, "Cross Bones" ?

The book has a preface on historical facts regarding Palestinian archaeology; also, an end-of-book section on how she came to elaborate her initial idea for the book.

Bonne journée.

J'm'en vais m'verser une 2e tasse. :)

I think our friend Anchorite was on youtube with a crystal skull he won in a contest.

Sunday evening, June 15th, post movie.

Evening Panluma.
Yes, I bought a copy of the movie, "The Body".
One of the many times I have watched the movie, I happened to notice, as Father Guthierez enters Doctor Goldban's living room, on the wall behind him, is a symbol of what looks like a human hand, with, in its palm centre, an eye.

Compare with Dr. Tabor's May 5th, 2007, picture of the Hamsa Symbol.

The summer of 2008 excavation team is in Jerusalem, as we 'speak' (type), at their 'Mount Zion' dig site. I wish I could be there.
Maybe in August...

I'd love to read an intelligent interview of author R. Ben Sapir.
I'm told that many elements of his story are different from the movie.
So, that means that the screenplay was adapted.
I'd love to see an interview between Ben Sapir and the movie's screenplay author.

Looks like thunder is about to roll in.
I should log off.
Nite.

I no longer have those back issues or I would go look to see just where the crucified bones of a article came from. I am not sure if either of these Issues had that article

Hi Judith. Nice to make your acquaintance.
I am so far behind in my reading it isn't even funny.
I'll try to get some done over the summer.
Gosh, if I had the moula, I'd apply for the August dig in Jerusalem.
Dreams, dreams. En tous cas.(Oh well) Back to reality.
