Ahalan, Dear Sam.
Thank you for your post. It is both provocative and disturbing, because I know it to be true.
I'd like to give my 2 cents worth on this most difficult subject. Former US President Jimmy Carter would also be in agreement with you; he would go even further and say that the Jewish 'settlling' on Palestinian land must stop, the homes of the displaced Palestinian families be rebuiilt, the walls torn down, water, food, and medecin be allowed to flow once again back into Palestinian neighbourhoods, and a Palestinian state be created.
I think that when European and Russian Jews began to 'gather back' (after 19 centuries) in the'Holy Land', due to the talks at the end of the 2nd World War and due to the 'power' of England and the Allied countries to 'decide' where Jews would go (cause no one wanted them, not ever the US), many breathed sighs of relief.
I have often drawn the comparion of one day all Irish people being told they had to go back to Ireland; this is an example of an ethnic group having to 'move back' (after generations), to the land of their ancestors.
I have also often given the comparison of one days all members of a religious group (other than the Jews), being told to 'go back' to where they came from. The example I have given is that of Catholics being one day told they all have to 'go back' to Rome. Most Catholics come from families who have been living out side of Rome for centuries.
I even have given the comparison of one day all Muslims being told they have to 'move back' to Arabia.
But, what I have never done, is take the argument further, and asking the question :
Okay, say we all 'go back' to the place of origin of our ethnic or religious background, we build our huts, tents, or whatever structure we can to shelter us from the rain or the sun : then what?
That is my question : then what?
Do we all adopt suffient regional economies and remain uninvolved with one another?
I do not think that will happen. I thing 'texting' (or its equivalent) is here to stay.
So, I ask again : what next?
The West has become really good at pointing the finger at Muslim clerics and ordering them to condem terrorist attacks. The West has even challenged boldly Muslim scholars to stand up to the clerics.
European history shows us that standing up to the Roman clerics was a long and painful process. (The popularity of the DaVinci Code attest to that.)
I agree with you : the world is now ready for someone else other than Jimmy Carter to 'call a spade a spade' with respect to Palestine. The common Jewish man and woman in Israel need to do as much.
But, I do not think that nations will progress much unless we all decide, as a Globe, to let ourselved be guided by the UN and get a handle on our global demographics (our various population im and ex plosions) and decide together how we will respect the various ethnic and religious groups, all the while voluntarily getting control of the number 1 environmental issue : the birth of too many human babies and the depletion of the elements that sustain human life.
To my mind, all other environmental concerns will come under control if we get control of our im and ex ploding birth rates.

Sunday evening, November 15th 2009
Hello Sam. Thank you for asking about my battle with H1N1.
I am recovered.
Still coughing a lot. But much better.
It lasted a week; 6 days of fever of 101 to 102.
I'd feel fine when I awoke.
The fever would start by the end of the morning and last the whole day.
I'd finally take enough Tylenol and the fever would descend enough for me to have a comfortable night of sleep.
I'd wake up the next morning thinking I was over it.
Then my noon, I'd begin the be feverish again.
I had no sore throat.
It began with an uncontrolable need to cough on Saturday night of Oct 31st. By Sunday noon I could hear liquid in my left lung.
I saw a Doctor at the Emergency.
X-ray, blood test came back negative, but we decided it was a false negative, given the rapid onset of symptoms.
I've never had anything go that deep into my lungs, and so quickly before.
The doctor and I decided that I could go home, because I could still
breath well. I had bought 5 pommegranites and 12 lemons.
So I put myself on a pommegranite & protein cure.
I drank industrial quantities of water with fresh lemon and brown sugar.
My last day of fever was Friday November 6th.
Abdominal muscles were VERY sore, from coughing.
Ice packs helped calm the pain and the coughing.
I called 811 and spoke to the nurse 4 times in 6 days.
She helped me decide if my symptoms needed further medical attention.
I quit smoking 20 years ago and have always walked and swam and sung a lot; so my lungs were in good condition when the virus infected me. I have actually felt 'sicker' with just a run of the mill head cold.
But 6 days of fever, incredible bouts of coughing and a need to sleep12 to 15 hours a day tell me that I did not have just a simple head cold.
I've never seen anything go so deep into the lungs and so fast.
But my body seemed to be able to handle it well.
It is strange to described that on the one hand I did not feel incredibly sick, yet, I slept, and coughed and had prolongued fever like I've never had before. I am still coughing. A lot. But, the doctor says I am in the clear.
I'd say keep lots of fruit on hand and be ready to get yourself to the doctor quickly if you have any breathing problems.
Even when I heard the liquid in my lungs, I felt I could breath well and did not feel short of breath. But, when I walked, I ran out of breath more easily. My left lung was more affected. They put the oxygen monitor on my index. My instincts told me that my oxygen level would be good.
It was. But whe he asked me if I tired when walking, I realized that my lungs could be congested, my lung capacity could be diminished
and I did not realize it immediately. I soon noticed the difference when I walked outside one morning to take the garbage out.
When the fever finally left me, I felt as if I had new lungs and was breathing pure oxygen. It felt like my lungs had had a good cleaning.
Glad to over it.

A: How does this post relate to the Jesus family tomb? This is suppose to be an historical forum, not an anti-Israeli one. Sam's multiple posts against Jews and Israel are highly offensive and should be deleted. They should be seen as hate talk much like the Nazis. Of course we know the grand mufti of Jerusalem helped to plan the final solution with Hitler. Many of the those who think like the Nazis are found in the Arab world today.
