Hello, guest
Name: mark  •  Title: Them bones, them bones...  •  Date posted: 03/09/07 17:10
Q: Can anyone give any info about the bones that were discovered in the tomb and relocated to a burial site?

Primarily I am interested in which assuaries they were found in.

Were any discovered in the box allegedly belonging to Jesus?

Thanx for any help.

sincerely,
mark

A: As I understand, bones were found in each ossuary, including the one that may be labeled "Jesus son of Joseph". The bones were removed and re-interred with a Jewish burial service in a cemetary in Israel set apart for burying remains found in archeological finds. The ossuaries currently are empty and in storage.

A: May be labled " jesus son of Joseph". Why is that a mabye?

A: Can we visit this cemetary?Or isit off-limits?

A: Red,

I don't question the inscription. I simply have no absolute knowledge of it's contents.

I believe the question is clear.

sincerely,

A: Hello to all and thank you for making this conversation possible.

Questions:

1.) Was there pictures taken and descriptions of the bones that were found in the ossuary labeled " Jesus son of Joseph"?

2.) Was the skeleton complete?

3.) Was there signs of some form of crucifiction on the bones?

4.) Is there an exact record of the location of these bones?

The song "Them Bones"

http://www.school-ho-use-rock.com/Bone.html

Them- bones, them bones, them dry bones,
Now they're the working of the Lord.

Bones are heard of, but seldom seen,
'Cept each year 'round Halloween.
But I've got a shockeroo,
Right now there's a skeleton locked up inside of you. (Ha-ha-ha)

Minus bones you're just a blob,
Being framework's their main job.
All your organs, muscles, too,
They need your bones to hold them safe and sound inside for you.
Your heart and lungs are tucked away,
In there behind your ribs.
Those bones have been protecting them
Since we were little kids.
Lookout, here comes a bonehead play!
Birdin' his brain, (Tweet, tweet, tweet) what a day!
Don't take to much to overwhelm it,
But luckily those bones up there work like a built-in helmet!
Shin bone connected to the knee bone
(That means the tibia connects to the patella)
Knee bone connected tot he thigh bone
(That means the patella connects to the femur)
And here's how they really fit together.
Ligaments are what link bone to one.
Cartilage that cushions in between.
Muscles hook on, by the tendons,
So here's what's happenin' in your knees most ev'ry time you bend 'em.

Now there's a lot of skeleton
We never get to see,
But it holds other little parts
That show quite obviously.
I'm talkin' 'bout those thirty-two
That we all call our teeth.
We gotta feed 'em right and keep 'em clean,
Or they can come to grief. (Ouch!)

So please remember,
You got to do it while you're young
Feed your bones some good old calcium
Drinking milk - a glass or two
Will help your bones to stay in shape and do their job for you.

(Your skeleton)
It's framework, (Yes, yes) holding you together.
Shielding organs, Yeah, that's its job, too!

A: It seems like a cover up..If I was an archologist in Jerusalem and ran accross bones of Joseph Mary Josie Jesus and James, i would have to be a complete idiot not to recognize what I might have stumbled upon.

Maybe I could find a tomb in London which held Arthur, Lancelot, Gwenevier and Merlin. I would promptly take the tomb and swords and bury them in an unmarked grave.

A: Hello Mark. I know it's much too late, but your question is still interesting. And my answer is: You certainly have a sharp point. Prof. Kloner claimed the bones were reburied soon after the discovery under the heavy pressure of the ultra orthodox Jews. It might be right. But we can sharpen your question: where is the bones report, which is a "must" in any archaeological study and work? One of the professionals involved with the discovery replied to this question as follows: 1. There was no bones report from the outset because we worked under pressure. 2. I turned the office upside down looking for this report and couldn't find it.
Do you, LM, find these answers contradicting each other? I do. But at least we can be sure that there are no bones anymore, and no report either. Now we have to wonder: who was so interested in eliminating the bones and the report?

A: Hello Mark
I had read the book , and if I remember there were no bones, all of the bones had been removed and re buried . That may leave the three skulls but those , if I recall, were on the floor in a triangular formation. That being said that triangle may have been done by intruders and in my opinion are in reference to the Trinity.

A: Hello eyeopener
What you said about the report missing and no report? That sounds contradictory to me to.
What bothers me more is , when they re bury bones they are to keep a list of where they are, if I read my information right. So there are three major flub's and that should make even the most uneducated think a bit.

A: good evening Judith. You are right: it is a contradiction. When i first heard both claims i was really confused: how can one look for a report that has never been done according to his own words? Anyway, i was not the one who claimed so. I suppose we all have to restart the entire investigation and this time seriously and objectively. I wish ALL professionals involved will supply every bit of knowledge with no compromisses. Do you, Judith, believe they will? Knowing some of then, i doubt it.

A: Hello eyeopener
I am hardly the one to out guess the educated, which is why I sent some of my Bible studies to a Magazine I read. I had used the ages of the Patriarchs to draw a chart and came out with a chart that was much like one I received , much late,r with a CD done by Deepak Choprah. Enoch was the only one who came to zero ( 0 ) at the top of those charts and if that is the Same it referred to Full Potential ( in ancient times that may well be Man of God or God Man).
In all honesty I do not know any of those scholars, I was lucky to get my GED and pass it.
