Title: World changing? •

Q: While I can be open minded and allow for room of possibilities I think the term "World Changing" is prematurely used here. This to me just feels a bit like a few people are trying to make a claim that they have something that will "Shock" the world and alter history. Without enough evidence, and in all honesty I doubt there ever could be enough to prove this idea I think the use of these strong words is wrong.
I personally feel this was one sided and not taken from every angle. And why so one sided? To gain attention and money.

A: I agree with you ***to an extent***. First of all, what would people change if a body was found in a tomb in Jerusalem, or Srinagar, totally preserved, and with a golden plate around it's neck that read,
"I am Yeshuwa. I was sent by God to the Children of Israel. My mother's name was Mary. My father's name was Joseph. My son's name was Judah. My wife's name was Mary Magdalene.
"I had 12 disciples. I preached to all who would here. I preached to the hypocritical, law-burdened, soul-less pharisees and saducees. They conspired against me, and had me crucified.
"I was placed between two thieves, and hung on a cross. A Centurian stabbed me in the side to check to see if I was dead. I had fallen into a swoon, though. On the third day..."
I don't know what would change. I doubt if the Vatican would close. They'd probably deny the finding as a "hoax," and ask, "Why werent' there any Catholic or Christian scholars on the dig."
I can think of several reason why such a finding WOULD be "earth changing," but even then maybe only gradually. One change might be that these Christian fundamentalists WOULD NOT so easily be able to CREATE an apocalytic senario that featured the destruction of ALL MUSLIMS (as some of the more radical "Christian" preachers all for) so that Jesus could then come back, in the Middle East, and set up the "Kingdom of God."
Well, aside from the question of why Jesus, the "Son of God," would even NEED Christian armies to wipe out all the Muslims so that he could feel...safe [??] to return, there is also the issue of WAR ITSELF, and its justification through the invocation of a god.
With Jesus dead and buried, they wouldn't be able to trick young impressionable men into going to war, "for the Lord," as SOME of these Christian fundamentalists do.
But!! Don't think it's just Christians. Fundamentalists Muslims teach that "Isa" (Jesus) is coming back, accompanied by Imam Mahdi, to innundate the world with blood in order to force Islam on the world. They get these ideas from the Islamic body of works called hadith.
So, I can very well imagine the following scenario: Ahmadinejab gets hold of nuclear weapons. He QUIETLY hires former Soviet nuclear physicists. And, unbeknownst to the U.S., he develops INTERCONTINENTAL BALLISTIC MISSLES that can reach any spot in the U.S.
Ahmadinejab, who truly believes in a Muslim apocalype [look it up on the web], decides that the time has come to destroy, "The Great Shaitan." In the meantime, a fundamentalist president [Bush??], or a president INFLUENCED by Christian apocalyptic, has convinced himself, and others, that, "It's time to finish this war on terrorism."
And then the nukes fly. Sounds insane? IT IS!! Sounds beyond the realm of possibility? THINK AGAIN.
I am one who is ANXIOUS to see Jesus BURIED, because the power of apocalyptic is REAL. Did you know that you can get a DEGREE on the study of apocalyptic. Many theses have been written on its reality, and its potency. Read, "Arguing the Apocalypse." (Amazon), and other such books.
There is something about apocalyptic--with Jesus at the center--that is downright DANGEROUS, and has a weird way of impacting the minds of fundamentalists, expecially the youth. Apocalyptic becomes particularly strong during periods of economic distress. This has occurred THROUGHOUT HISTORY.
So, I support the Jesus-in-India theory, not only because the evidence is good, but because Jesus NEED to be buried--just like anybody who dies.

A: This is not about attention an dmoney. This is about facts and truth. With more evidence this could really shock the world!
